A member asked:

Why do i feel really really cold? i have some symptoms of a cold and i took my temperature and the highest it went to was 99.9.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Body's physiology: Your body is probably trying to fight this infection, the 'cold', by making you actually feel cold - then you might start to shiver or pile on the blankets. This will generate a fever - even though you didn't actually measure one. Your body's thermostat might be set slightly lower than another person's - so this could explain the discrepancy. Hopefully you can listen to your body and help recover.
