Constipaton elderly: Sorry to hear about your GM’s problem. It is common in the elderly. Review the following with her Dr. Meds she is taking Type of diet she is eating Is she able to drink fluids. Should she take more Be certain she is not taking ANY OTC meds or supplements/magic potions as these may contain constipating meds unknown to you. Putting vasoline around/in rectum May ease pain. Have Dr do rectal now.
