Fibroid: pain??: A solitary fibroid of "7 mm" will not cause "immense pain and discomfort", and is unlikely to be the cause of bleeding "for twelve days". This kind of bleeding can be associated with tubal pregnancies, which can cause pain, etc.. See your gyn provider for an exam and testing to be certain you are not pregnant.

Not normal: The pain, discomfort, and the prolonged menstruation are not normal. There are a few medical solutions to your fibroid problem. Some are medical and some are surgical including myomectomy to remove the fibroid without removing the uterus. Find a GYN MD is your geographic location that can be helpful in this regard.
