Expired medication: Few medications have side effects beyond expiration. Mostly you would expect decreased efficacy. I would recommend not taking medication that is expired as well as medication that you found that may or may not be your own, currently prescribed to you. If you continue to have panic attacks, I would seek care from your primary care physician or whoever has prescribed you valium in the past.
