Less alcohol helps: Most people are successful with weight loss by reducing calorie intake to 200-300 calories less than you need each day (to probably around 1600-1800 healthy calories in a young man such as yourself); burn more calories through exercise: target 350+ burned/day. You may lose 2+ pounds a week with this, a safe and likely permanent loss. If you can't stop drinking on your own, go to AA/other treatment
