None: If you have an overactive thyroid, your thyroid gland is taking iodine from the blood stream and using it to make thyroid hormone. The thyroid is not producing iodine. Taking more iodine can make this worse. There are no herbal supplements known to decrease overproduction of thyroid hormone in this case, just medications.
