hard,bony lump on first rib,near sternum left. 1-2cm size.sometimes aches,slightly tender.first noticed a year ago, i think it changes size,not sure.

Get it checked.: Any new mass, whether soft tissue or bone needs to be evaluated. A mass on your rib could be a healed fracture, arthritis at the bone-cartilage joint or it could be a tumor. You need to get it seen by a doctor now.
