Can you be fully dilated without having contractions? my water broke at 37 weeks, and when i got to the hospital i was ten centimeters dilated but i didn't have any contractions only symptom was my water broke. is something wrong with my cervix?

Unfelt contractions: Oh, you had contractions alright, you just did not feel them. In order for the cervix to dilate to 10 centimeters. contractions needed to occur. Once the bag of waters breaks, it was imperative to notify the OB MD and go directly to the hospital ("and do not pass go"-Monopoly.) !
