No cause for concern: This event that occurred 10years ago should not be a cause for concern or to have "caused any long term consequence" unless you had an untreated acute pelvic infection or toxic shock syndrome back then.

All good.: If you didn't have any problems 10 years ago you are fine. If you are having some sort of new symptoms that are causing you to be concerned they are not related to your decennial tampon incident- see your doctor.
