Nothing more to do: Hello, If the doctor looked inside with a speculum and followed with a pelvic exam you were examined thoroughly. You may have some sensitivity due to the exams performed but given time things will return to normal.

No place to hide.: Would be pretty hard to miss something like that with a speculum and manual exam. Your symptoms are probably from something else.

Er, left sided pelvic pain. Age 40 . Have cyst . Never have bleeding between cycles. Large amounts of bright red blood pain w/ tampon , pain ^. Family h/o mult gyn cancers. No gyn doc in new state.
38y.o. man w/ mildly enlarged prostate noted incidentally on pelvic mri. Path report recommended more specific prostate mri but doc thought unnecessary due to psa being wnl (.9 psa & 32.2% free psa). Worrisome for cancer? Push for mri or no big deal?
Took 12 yr old son to ER for stabbing pain in lower left abdomen. Found his WBC 19, 000, pelvic fluid and gastritis. Why pelvic fluid? Doc didn't know.
Had a baby 11/20. I breastfed since 08/21. Once I stopped, periods are irregular along w/pelvic/back pain. Switched birth control, ultra sound found cyst on cervix. I still bleed 3wks out of 1mo & doc claims it isn't related. It's been 1yr! Thoughts?
