A member asked:

I have pcos and hydrosalpinx what should i do to avoid surgery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

PCOS:hydroslpx: Hydrosalpinx is a blocked tube, and if on both tubes will prevent pregnancy. PCOS is treated usually with oral contraceptives, but if pregnancy is desired, you may require surgery to open the tubes. The only other option if your tubes are blocked, is to use "in vitro fertilization" if you wish to avoid surgery and you want to become pregnant.
