"Pruritis": is the medical term for itchiness and chronic prurtitis is unfortunately one of the most complex medical problems ....a few "simple" tests and a visit to a Dermatologist are a good start..testing of LIVER function (especially the so called "obstructive" liver tests ,kidney function and some allergy testing are a beginning. NOT TO WORRY but your SYMPTOM needs a solution and treatment Z

Dry skin?: Itching is not a common feature in SLE . Try applying moisturizer 2x daily with at least one <3 mins after bathing to see if this helps. You may also be having a reaction to one of the drugs being taken for other health conditions. See dermatologist or allergist if itching continues.
