6-8 weeks: is the usual time frame we quote people with regard to bone healing. Yes, breaking more bones at the same time can prolong the recovery as there is also a lot of soft tissue repair that has to take place. You are young so more likely to be at the shorter end of the time frame. If you are a smoker - STOP! This has been shown to speed up bone repair.

Broken bones: In general, bones take 6 to 10 weeks to heal. The more bones you break, the more functionally disabled you will become. The bones will need to heal first before you start moving about. In the mean time, the attached muscles are doing nothing so they can atrophy. Ergo, your bones may heal, but you won't be able to do much because the attached muscles won't have the strength to allow you to move
