Hayfever: Acupuncture isn't well studied in the conventional medical world as a treatment for hay fever. A steroid shot may be part of treatment for hay fever but not to be taken lightly as effectively 3 months of steroids in 1 go with all the risks - diabetes, osteoporosis, etc with longterm use. Best to discuss with your GP - may be better alternatives if not they can then arrange a steroid injection.

Desensitisation: Talk to your GP about allergen desensitisation. That way your allergy could be 'cured'.
