Treat hemorrhoids: Most hemorrhoid patients resolve with otc and medical therapy. A bowel regimen (fluids, laxatives, probiotics, walking to achieve 2 soft bm daily) and local care, (soak area, hairdryer area, salves, pads to protect clothes). If not better in 4 to 6 weeks, then ask for surgical referral. Rectal surgery can benefit. Recovery is challenging in this sensitive area. Be well.

Considerations...: "healing" depends on whether the original cause for hemorrhoids persists. Have you been straining at stool, have rectal dysfunction, perform an activity that increases pelvic engorgement with blood or increases pelvic pressure (heavy lifting, prolonged sitting, etc.)? Have your hemorrhoids been surgically or medically managed (& with otc or prescription drugs)? Are you sure they're hemorrhoids?
