Nearly everytime i get a cold (sore throat and/or runny nose) it progresses to a chest infection / bronchitis. it's so frustrating! i have post nasal drip & silent acid reflux. how can i stop it progressing to chest infection every time?

You can't.: An evaluation by a health care professional could help to identify if you have an immune deficiency but in general this is rare. You are just unfortunately susceptible and unlikely to avoid the progression.
