Type 1 v. Type 2 hsv: Types one and two are thought to be interchangeable, so sores vaginally can have transmittable virus and it is easily spread to the mucus membranes of the mouth, especially if any oral sex occurs. HSV is very common, and easily transmitted, but the ulcers occur when stress in any form is more intense.
