Is it possible to find out what blood type you are after donating to the american red cross?

Automatic: If you are a new donor, you should have a blood donor card with your blood type on it mailed to you within a few weeks of donating. In case the "send new card" box did not get marked, some centers will tell you (even over the phone) if you confirm your identity properly.
