GET CARE RIGHT NOW!: IMMEDIATELY contact the doctor (or emergency department) where your fracture was diagnosed. If that's not possible or you haven't yet seen a doctor, GET CARE RIGHT NOW, even if it means a middle of the night visit to an emergency department. Maybe it's just bruising from the injury, but if the skin truly is turning black, this could be very dangerous, with risk of losing your fingers.
