A member asked:

Can amyloidosis occur on nails? i have slight discolouration only on two fingers of each hand, not on feet. there are no longitude lines or black lines, its just brown/blackish discolouration on only towards the front of the nails, not the whole nail?

It is usually due to a fungal infection. See a dermatologist, as other causes have to be excluded as well.
