Needs evaluation: It is possible that an incomplete root canal could develop an abscess years later. Sinus infections can contribute to tooth pain. Teeth that have had root canal treatment and don’t have a permanent crown on top for many years could have a crack. You should see a dentist for evaluation; infections in the head and face areas can be serious.
