See dentist ASAP.: Sounds like you have a very active abscess/infection. It can cause extensive swelling in the side of your face and neck, not to mention extensive pain. If you can't get in to see a dentist right away, you should go to an emergency room or care facility. They will likely start you on antibiotics which will start to dissipate the degree of the infection, but it will not cure it. See a dentist.

Yes: Please don't let it go! See a dentist to control the infection then eliminate it by either doing root canal therapy to save it or do an extraction and clean out the socket. The infection is going through your body and you know that because of your lymph nodes
