ER evaluation: If your pain has been severe, it is possible you have acute cholecystitis which means inflammation and possible infection of the gallbladder. If your pain does not get better, I would highly recommend going to the emergency room for a thorough evaluation. It is possible you could require surgery do you have your gallbladder removed. If your pain gets better it is not likely an emergency.
