Nerve pain: You appear to have irritated your Ulnar nerve. This can come from over use of the hand leading to swelling around the nerve, holding something hard firmly in the hand for a prolonged time, pressure on the wrist like in push ups, holding on bars and hanging, bench pressing or weight lifting and all other related activities that put pressure on the hand, wrist, or elbow or any combination of them

Nerve pain: This may be a nerve impingement by the wrist ligaments(carpal tunnel syndrome) or a primary nerve inflammation(neuritis). If symptoms persist consult a neurologist. In the meantime an anti-inflammatory medication like Advil or Aleve combined with Tylenol may relieve your discomfort.
