At your age: the most common cause of knee pain while walking is OSTEOARTHRITIS (due to "wear and tear"..There is treatment for this both medical and surgical, the latter route is becoming more popular with advanced surgical (Orthopedic) techniques!! Hope this is helpful! Dr Z
