Best esthetics: Yes it is. In fact, by doing so your dentist would be able to give you the most beautiful outcome. The "fake tooth" would be able to shape the gum as you heal from your extraction, and will help "mold" the tissue around your eventual permanent bridge.

Yes: Bet follow all oral hygiene recommendations to the letter. And remember a temporary restoration is just that. Follow your dentist's restoration timetable...don't put treatment off.
