Brownish mucus: See an oral surgeon asap, you may have an infection, have them take xrays, the infection can get worse and spread.

Sinus Perforation: You may have a sinus perforation. The tips of the upper back teeth are often associated with the floor of the sinuses, so sometimes when an upper back tooth is pulled, a hole is created in the floor of the sinus. This allows blood from the tooth socket to leak into the sinus--the brown stuff in your mucus. If it is still going on after 2 months, get it checked asap by an ENT or oral surgeon.
