A member asked:

Pcp said that my pulmonary htn of 42mmhg &mildly dilated la is not of a concern,no need for cardiologist follow up, and cath won't show anything, true?

Agree: with those values for pulmonary htn and la size, there is no need for concern, especially if you are asymptomatic and do not have valvular heart disease. it seems that these findings were most likely detected by echo and I would recommend repeating an echo in several years to see if there are any changes or sooner if symptoms of shortness of breath occur.
