Usually a few years: Brain aneurysms often take several years of slow growth before they would be clinically significant. There of course can be great variation between rates of growth in different people. Also, you should keep in mind that many small aneurysms can be easily missed on the average MRI or Ct scan. They often require a very focused exam, either traditional angiogram, or MR/CT angiogram to visualize.
