Depends on size: Ct or mr angiograms are good screening tools, and surgeons are using cta to plan surgery instead of angiograms. If you have an aneurysm, there is a certain chance that it will grow over time. How fast it grows is not predictable. If you don't have an aneurysm, you should have your doctor look for other reasons for headaches.

Uncommon cause: 1st question - without trauma and discarding special cases aneurysm in general aneurysms do grow slowly. Some problems come from the observation that some aneurysm do not grow but go on to rupture and others never grow. 2nd question: cta or mra (a=angiography) are in general able to detect most aneurysms greater than 2-3 millimeters in size, the gold standard remains catheter angiography.
