Not wanting a mmrv for our 12 month old because of the risk of higher fevers want it separated can it be done?

Yes: I quit giving MMRV in my office for that reason. The varicella vac can be given at the same session with the separate vaccine with no increase in fever risk. The problem was with the combined vaccine group, not the separate vaccines.That risk does not seem to matter with the 4-5 yr booster (which I did use).
