dyed hair at salon on wednesday woke up yesterday with redness and itching along hair line and on ear where hair dye touched but was removed by stylis?

Allergy: Avoid this dye in future. If severe, blistered reaction you ought to get 2 or 3 doses of prednisone spaced 2 days apart. Rinse in shower and apply a topical steroid such as triamcinolone lotion .1%.

Sounds like: A dermatitis. For immediate relief perhaps use an otc Hydrocortisone cream, and consult with a physician asap. Hope this helps.
