I think a colleague has chicken poxs n l might have come in2 contact with it when we shared a pool table stick. can anything be done b4 it develops?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Chicken pox unlikely: An adult with chicken pox is not likely to be going around playing pool. If you had chicken pox as a child you do not need to worry about the exposure, even if it is chicken pox. There is vaccination for chicken pox but that is not likely to be useful after exposure. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
