Coated Tongue: Good Day; Some degree of film is found naturally on the tongue. May be due to medication, habits even medical conditions. A good teaching hospital may recommend attending on staff that specializes in Oral Pathology or an erudite family dentist. Good luck!

Start: start with an oral cavity expert. See your Dentist. Depending on findings you may need medication, mechanical removal, or referral to an Oral Pathologist or an ENT.

Coated tongue: What is everything and who if anyone have you seen already? See a dentist who can probably resolve your issue. If necessary you might be referred to your physician.
