Sounds significant: Would recommend examination and x-ray next ASAP.

Broken bone: If you've injured your hand and suspect significant damage you should be examined by a physician and have an X-Ray taken. Untreated significant hand injuries like fractures or dislocations must be properly treated to avoid lifelong chronic joint problems. If you haven't injured that hand, a fracture is not likely. If you're experiencing hand pain, get examined anyway.

Please go to ER: for history, examination and X-ray. That is how you will know what / if you have a fracture.
