I get excruciating pain in my fourth toe, the one next to my little toe, in each foot, but mostly my right foot. it comes and goes. no redness or edem?

Hmmm: When is the pain worse? Does anything make it better/less painful? If it outs happening on both feet, shoe modification may be needed or maybe custom orthotics if it is a biomechanical/structural problem. I would suggest seeing a Podiatrist in office for a more thorough eval and xrays, or connecting with one of us here to give you more targeted advice

Varies: A number of possibilities, it seems a little unusual that it would affect both feet. More common causes would include a neuroma, synovitis, stress fracture, callous, sore, again would usually involve one side or the other. Conditions more likely to be bilateral could include atypical presentations of neuropathy or vascular disease. I would encourage you to be seen for specific diagnosis.
