Saliva: Could be acid reflux. Take prilosec for a few days. See if it better

Post nasal drip: Try sudafed and or an antihistamine and the saliva will improve and dry up. You may also have a sore throat or pharyngitis. Drink plenty of fluids and get some rest: this too will pass.
