Viral URI: These symptoms are characteristic of a viral upper respiratory tract infection and now there is bronchial involvement. This should gradually resolve, but worrisome symptoms would be fever, sweats,shaking chills, worsening cough, production of copious discolored sputum, sharp inspiratory chest pains, shortness of breath or wheezing. Any of these warrants an examination by a physician.
