What can i do to get a spinal tap test when doctors refuse?

Lumbar puncture: I am not sure the doctors are refusing rather they likely they do not feel it useful for a diagnostic reason. Remember every test and especially a spinal tap has its own risk so the physician has to justified the risks versus the benefits and it appears the medical team feels the risks are higher than the benefits.
