Virus?/cold soaks: May be caused by a virus. Try cold soaks, make sure to wash your hands well with soap/water to prevent spreading this. Get checked by an eye dr if persists more than a couple of days or if you're uncomfortable.

Conjunctivitis: It sounds like you have conjunctivitis. It can either be viral or bacterial. It will usually go away on its own but it is very contagious so make sure to wash your hands often. Your ophthalmologist may give you drops to shorten the duration of symptoms and help you to feel better.
