CP: Cerebral Palsy is often difficult to diagnose and there can be many signs from infancy to the toddler stage. Simple leg crossing during sleep is not definitively diagnostic for CP, so rest assured and have your baby get regular appts from his pediatrician. Crosslegged: Sitting crosslegged is a typical posture in the uterus. It is also very normal for babies. Babies who are sitting nicely at 5 months are most likely healthy! If your baby is developing nicely, cerebral palsy should be low on your list of worries. Have your pediatrician go over developmental milestones with you.
