A member asked:

I know that liquor and cocaine creates cocathylene but does that process occur if you consume alcohol days after the consumption of cocaine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

NotLikely except----: Cocaethylene is formed by the liver when coccain and ethanol coexist in the blood.Although the half life of cocaine is short but in chronic users or if it follows a heavy binge it can be detected in urine upto 12 days.So if you are not a chronic user or on heavy binge, there will be no cocaine in blood after days.In chronic users and on heavy binge it may take 12to14 days
