No. just no.: First, it isn't at all clear that mild drinking SHORTENS lifespan--it pretty much has always been associated with decreased cardiac events. Second, Bone marrow is the organ affected by loss of stem cell function first, Although alcoholics MAY have bone marrow inhibition from a variety of reasons, it can clear up with abstinence.
