No: To clarify, if you are on long term opiates and take tramadol there is no withdrawal. Long term tramadol does have a withdrawal syndrome however. The 2 drugs are additive and can cause sleepiness and respiratory depression and should NOT be taken at the same time as the work on the same receptors and would provide no further benefit.
