It sounds like you: have a viral syndrome (generalized symptoms due to infection by virus), but it may not be a respiratory virus. There are at least 900 different kinds of viruses that can infect humans; most of us are infected with up to 200+ viruses over our lifetime. Rarely is the specific virus identified. The treatment is supportive: rest, fluids, fever reducing/pain medication. Hope this helps:)
