Check at one year: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, it would have have helped to know his MCV. Hemoglobin F will decrease with time and will be gone by 6-8 months of age. . His total hemoglobin is low and that may be due to iron deficiency. Please consult your pediatrician
