Infection: The fact that the mucus is discolored means that while you may have allergies you are also suffering from an infection. The color does not determine whether the infection is viral or bacterial. The decision as to whether you may need an antibiotic depends on the timing and other history factors. See your doctor if it continues for more than a week.

When blow nose, mucus is bloody. Lots of yellow-green postnasal drip. Some wheeze. No fever. Take Dymista, Allegra, singulair, (montelukast) qvar, and Ventolin. It's not allergy. Sinusitus? Go see primary care or wait it out?
