Iron deficiency: This needs to be approached both as something to treat, and something to explain. Even if there is ill-advised vegetarianism and/or heavy monthly / pregnancy loss, it's still good to check for bleeding from a stomach ulcer, colon cancer, hookworm, whatever else.
