Maybe iron deficient: Low iron saturation could indicate an overall iron deficiency, but there are other blood tests that need to be done to determine this. Most common causes for iron deficiency are poor absorption from the diet and blood loss. If left untreated, low iron can lead to anemia.

See below: Agree with Dr. B. Low blood iron generally means iron deficiency and you should see your doctor to ascertain the cause and treat the cause as well as the deficiency. All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests.
