Breastfeeding: Most lactation consultants would advise you that the more you put baby to breast, the more milk you will produce. Formula can be used but will actually reduce the amount of stimulation to make breastmilk. A hungry baby is the best way to make more milk. Offer the breast as frequently as you can until milk supply adjusts.
